Case Details

I received a suspicious e-mail from a delivery company. What should I do?

Information and communication services
I received the following e-mail from someone who claims to be a major delivery business. “We could not reach you although we had called you to deliver something. E-mail us as there is an error in the phone number of the delivery you had registered at the time of the order.” I don't remember telling them my e-mail address. I don't know what it means, and I'm suspicious. What should I do?

Advice

If you reply to or contact a suspicious e-mail, you will be giving your personal information to the other party. Ignore it if you don't recognize it.
